Was extremely busy. Lucky to get a table on the spot even though no booking was made prior. Had the shared ribs plate for my partner and I, $95 for two plus plenty leftover to take away home. They weren't kidding when stated in the menu that it feeds up to 3 people. However 3/4 of the ribs were actually pretty dry, only one rack was moist and juicy. The original wings that came with it are dry too, Buffalo wings were good. I guess the food needed sauce to lock in the moisture. Honestly, wouldn't pay that much again for the ribs platter. Atmosphere is loud and expected during peak times. Seats were uncomfortable as there were no back rest, just plain low benches.
Professional and friendly staff made checking in and out a breeze. Our room was very clean and tidy, we loved the character of the room, moden but still preserving the heritage of the building. A great place to stay
If you are into 'all you can eat' establishments, then this is the place for you. Buffet is well stocked with a wide range of deep fried delights and the odd braise. If qantity is more important to you than quality then you will be in paradise. Enjoy!
Went to the buffet meal and show which followed and was a sell out crowd so a LOT of people. As a result getting food at the buffet was a long process and could have been set up better. People cut in to grab plates and sadly compared to last time not a positive experience. Some of the food was nice but quick to go. They need to look at a better way for people to get their food with such numbers. The band was good but again we were packed so overall did not rate it well.
I have fond memories of eating here as a child. Everything was adequate when I visited recently. The food was hot, the staff were friendly. I can't say it was a stand out experience though. Good for a family get together, and the staff will always look after you.
