Very disappointing. My children called in here on the Sunday of the Christmas festival at about 2pm to get their map stamped. (A way to get people to visit most stores in the town) was told by the really could not care less lady that the stamping starts at 4pm and come back then. No other place we visited that afternoon said that to us. So after completing 28 of 29 visits picking up the odd lollly or trinket from all the other wonderful establishments they returned. 3 excited kids boys 11, 10 and our girl 8. Still no stamp as it was 3.55pm!!! I the dad went in at 3.59pm with them at this point. Again with her stop bothering me attitude she grudgingly gave the stamps with no treat (in a lollly shop!!!) no smile, no Hello. She should not work there if she cant just for a brief moment take initiative, show compassion to eager kids and really just cease her appalling behaviour today. I am still v perplexed why on our kids first visit she didnt just give the stamp and a lolly and let the kids skip out happy campers! No not on our list to return to again.... but to everywhere else in Hahndorf absolutely!!! Lovely people and a beautiful place to visit. Id have preferred to give no star....but thats the lowest google will go.
Average Service. The Female behind the counter neither acknowledged us nor smiled or said hello. At least if you are going to charge that much for lollies and fudge....a smile costs you nothing.
A must stop in Hahndorf for any fudge lover, very friendly staff with a massive selection of lollies both local and international sweets to choose from.Be sure to try some of their famous original fudge, I highly recommend the chocolate and the black forest fudge blocks. Good luck trying to select just one they have a huge selection.
